Deniz has more than 27 years of solid international experience in financial services, working at executive level with many market leaders including JP Morgan Bank, State Street Services, Brown Brothers Harriman Bank and PwC, covering clients, operations and projects in Europe, Asia, the GCC and the USA.
Her experience covers fund distribution, compliance, corporate governance, due diligence, supervision of service providers, operational risk management, investment funds, operations, internal and external audit, client relationship management and directorships for strategic clients. She has managed strategic projects, such as outsourcing, business integration, client profitability reviews and implementation of EU Directives and regulatory requirements.
She established her own management consultancy business in the UAE, providing services and solutions to asset, fund and investment managers, consulting firms and promoters. She is currently working closely with clients and service providers in Luxembourg, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, the UK and the Middle East.
Deniz graduated from Bogaziçi University in Istanbul with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and is a CFA Charterholder.
Deniz is an active Board member of the CFA Society Emirates and organized the Middle East Investment Conference in Abu Dhabi in February 2017. She is fluent in English, French and Turkish.

Walter is a chartered accountant and has worked for over 20 years in the offshore fund industry. He has resided in the British Virgin Islands since January 2006 after having worked in London for 6 years in a variety of capacities for the Lionhart hedge fund group with USD 900 million under management including CFO, Compliance Officer, Marketing Coordinator and Member of the Management Committee.
Walter graduated Cum Laude from Laurentian University, Canada, with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. He started his professional career in 1992 with KPMG, Canada and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. In January 1995 Walter relocated to KPMG in the British Virgin Islands, where he focused on the offshore hedge fund industry. From there he moved to Citco Fund Services (BVI) Ltd. to head up and manage the set up and administration of international hedge funds.
His return to the British Virgin Islands in 2006, together with experience gained at Lionhart, Citco and KPMG, allows Walter to offer his services as an experienced, independent and offshore domiciled director/consultant to a select number of offshore based funds and management companies. To facilitate these services he founded Tovel Investments Ltd. and Tovel Consulting Ltd. - both companies formed to provide extensive hedge fund & management related services from the British Virgin Islands. In addition to acting as director for a limited number of funds and management companies, Walter currently serves on the executive committee of the BVI Investment Funds Association and as an appointed member of the BVI Financial Services Commission established Securities, Investment Business and Mutual Funds Advisory Committee.

Sükrü Evrengün(1960) graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a Masters degree in Fiscal Law in 1985. After graduation, he completed the management trainee program at ABN-AMRO Bank in Amsterdam. In 1988 Mr. Evrengün joined the Citco Group, where he worked for eleven years in managerial positions in both the trust and banking operations, in the Netherlands Antilles, Aruba, Netherlands, BVI and Switzerland.
After leaving Citco in 1999, Mr. Evrengün established himself as an independent corporate finance consultant in Switzerland and co-founded Circle Partners in 2000. In July 2012, Mr. Evrengün acquired the majority of the shares of AMS Holdings Ltd., a mid sized trust company, with its main operation in the British Virgin Islands. Circle/AMS Group form now an independent financial services group, active in fund services, fiduciary, management and corporate services, insurance management services and corporate /structured finance services to international corporate and private clients. Circle/AMS haveoffices in the UK, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Slovak Republic, Cyprus, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, USA, BVI, Cayman Islands, Curacao and Nevis and employ approximately 130 people worldwide.
Mr. Evrengün concluded the Program for Management Development at the HarvardBusinessSchool in 1995 and serves as an independent director on the board of various investment funds and international companies.

Frédéric is an experienced Risk Manager who has held various CRO positions in the asset management industry. He founded Risk Alternatives, an advisory firm that brings solutions in Risk Management, systems and corporate governance. He currently acts as CRO for Blue Orchard Finance, an impact investing manager. He previously was the CRO of Harcourt, Zürich (Alternative Investment) and was a member of the Investment Committee for 9 years. Prior to this, he was at Sanwa International in London where he was responsible for managing the Risk Measurement team and worked for Credit Suisse (investment banking) from 1995 to 1998 as the Market Risk Manager for the Equity Derivatives Division.
Frédéric graduated from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland in Economics and holds a Master’s in Finance.He speaks four languages and brings extensive Risk Management experience in risk management and systems developments.

Gunther has over 28 year’s international business experience in senior positions. He started his career in Luxembourg in 1987 joining Banque Internationale a Luxembourg fund administration unit, the largest administrator with nearly 800 funds. In May 2000, Gunther went on to join Credit Suisse AM Fund Services in Luxembourg; he transferred on an international assignment to Credit Suisse Fund Administration in Guernsey in 2006, where he was Head of Operations, Co Chief Operating Officer and director of the Executive Board. His career in fund administration covered a broad range of asset classes. Gunther holds a number of Non-Executive Director positions in property, hedge and long only funds and provides consultancy services in fund administration. He is an excellent problem solver using his operational expertise and multi-lingual and multi-cultural background to break down language barriers and creating strong relationships.
Gunther graduated from HELMo University (Belgium) in 1986 in Accounting and Finance and has qualified as a Certified Director and is currently a resident of Guernsey.

Roger is an experienced Senior Banker, with strong exposure to Wealth Management and transformation of business models. 21 years abroad, 11 years in Switzerland, Roger has numerous experiences with Growth strategies, developments of new markets, hub strategies, M&A, transformation, cost reduction as well as acute crisis management.
Roger has exposure to various financial centres in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas. With his multi-lingual and multi-cultural background, his academic teaching helps him to stay fit and on top of the wave. In 2015, Roger decided to be active in three areas of professional activity : Independent Board member, Strategic Advisory & Agent activities, and Academic Teaching.
Roger graduated from the HEC Lausanne with an degree in Economics and holds a master in Advanced Management Program from The Wharton School, Pennsylvania. Business Ethics, Governance and Sustainability are core values very close to Roger’s heart.

After pursuing a successful investment banking career spanning more than a decade at S.G. Warburg, UBS, HSBC James Capel and Nomura, in 1996 Simon created one of the industry’s first dedicated research and investment consulting businesses, Global Fund Analysis. At its peak GFA had over 27,000 registered users around the globe.
Simon went on to establish the Fortune Group in 1996, an award-winning alternatives investment advisory business. Fortune merged with Global Fund Analysis in 2000. Fortune Group became one of the UK’s pre-eminent multi-asset advisory firms with clients in 24 countries and a focus on pension funds, charities and endowments, as well as a number of the world’s leading families. The firm was successfully sold to UK-listed, financial services group, Close Brothers Group PLC, in 2006, culminating in its full integration in January 2010.
In December 2010, Simon founded Milltrust International Group focusing on investment management expertise in Emerging Markets. Milltrust delivers the industry’s first dedicated Emerging Markets Managed Accounts Platform hosting established managers as UCITS funds or AIFMD compliant funds.
Simon is registered with CIMA (Cayman), Central Bank of Ireland, FCA (UK) and MAS (Singapore) and FSC (Mauritius) as an approved director. He graduated from the Faculty of Law (LLB Hons), University of Bristol in 1986. He has been an outspoken critic of egregious practices in asset management and an ardent champion of investors’ interests.
